The loop handle on the STIHL FSA 135 R battery brushcutter gives garden and landscape maintenance professionals the greatest possible freedom of movement when mowing, even in the tightest of spaces. As a result, you can even mow between trees and shrubs or other confined spaces comfortably and conveniently. Thanks to the low noise emissions, you can also work in noise-sensitive areas

Featuring a powerful EC engine and wide range of STIHL cutting tools that can you use with this brushcutter, the FSA 135 R creates the ideal conditions for maintaining and mowing grass and scrub. The speed can be continuously adjusted using the ergonomic control handle. You can choose between 3 speed settings for the most efficient work possible, while also being economical with energy. Power-saving mode is indicated by an LED. An air filter with metal grille supports a long service life as it provides optimum engine cooling. This air filter is also easy to clean. The power tool housing of the FSA 135 R has a dedicated position for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.

All battery power tools within the STIHL AP System have been designed for professional use and daily application, including in adverse weather conditions. With that in mind they are certified as splashproof; the effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal checks. The splashwater test meets the IPX4 standard, among others.

ERGONOMIC UNLOCK BUTTON

FOR SAFE STARTING. By pressing the unlock button, you can enable controlled operation of the power tool. Only after it has been pressed is it possible to operate the trigger button. Activation is indicated by a flashing LED. After that, you must start working within 5 seconds or the power tool will switch off again. This prevents the power tool from starting unintentionally when stationary, for example during transport or maintenance.

LOOP HANDLE

MORE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT IN NARROW SPACES. The loop handle is a great advantage in narrow spaces, such as when clearing between bushes, shrubs or park benches. The practical handle position allows you to move your power tool freely and to guide it easily and precisely, even in confined spaces.

METAL MESH AIR FILTER

OPTIMAL ENGINE COOLING. The air filter with fine metal mesh cleans the air and in this way ensures optimum engine cooling. As it is itself easy to clean, it also offers a long service life.

ERGONOMIC CONTROL HANDLE WITH SPEED CONTROL

EASY ADJUSTMENT OF POWER TOOL PERFORMANCE. Quickly and conveniently adjust the speed of your power tool to the respective work situation. Doing so reduces energy consumption at low speeds, and in this way extends the battery runtime. The practical control handle with speed control allows you to make the relevant adjustment without having to change your grip or pause work.

EYELET FOR CARRYING STRAP

COMFORTABLE WORK. To make your work easier and improve ergonomics, you can attach a harness to this STIHL power tool. You can use a special eyelet to do so.

EC ENGINE

LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.

SOFTGRIP HANDLE

FOR COMFORTABLE HANDLING. The softgrip handle sits comfortably and securely in the hand and absorbs some of the vibrations.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone or tablet that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions. Smart Connector 2 A sold seperately.
