The STIHL FS 111 brushcutter is the ideal tool for garden and landscape maintenance professionals who want to handle their mowing work efficiently. The powerful STIHL 4-MIX® engine makes mowing large areas of tough grass easy, while the reduced-emissions unit impresses with exceptional engine power and transmits its high torque to the cutting tool via a rigid drive shaft. A particularly large tank volume also allows for a particularly long run time and as such enables effective operation.
The ergonomic bike handle supports a natural scything movement and allows you to mow larger areas efficiently. Operation is made easier thanks to the one-hand multi-function handle. The stop button means you can start the brushcutter after a break without needing to activate any switches, so you can continue working immediately. To protect your muscles and joints, the STIHL FS 111 petrol brushcutter is equipped with the STIHL anti-vibration system. In addition, the double shoulder strap supplied as standard helps to distribute the weight more evenly over your body and provides support, especially for long periods of use.
SET THE BIKE HANDLE POSITION. You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport and space-saving storage.

STIHL 4-MIX® ENGINE
FOR FANTASTIC ENGINE POWER WITH LOW MAINTENANCE. The STIHL 4-MIX® engine is a four-stroke engine that does not require any oil circuit components, thanks to refuelling with an oil and gasoline mix. That’s why it’s more compact, more lightweight, and requires less maintenance than conventional four-stroke engines, while at the same time being powerful and offering a comfortable sound pattern. STIHL 4-MIX® engines comply with the European Stage V emissions directive.
STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
STOP BUTTON
RESTART WORK QUICKLY. With the stop button, you can switch off your power tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. As the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. This provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.
AUTOMATIC DECOMPRESSION
EFFORTLESS STARTING. Automatic decompression makes it easier to start the engine. This is because the system automatically opens the intake valve when the engine is started; the opening time of the valve is extended, and as a result the compression pressure is reduced. This significantly reduces the force required on the starter cord.
MANUAL FUEL PUMP
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
