Ultimate power meets ultimate simplicity in the STIHL BG 86 C-E petrol leaf blower. This blower is the best of both worlds, offering the same no-compromise power and comfort found in the BG 86 but with the technology of STIHL Easy2Start™. Now, starting the engine is fast and easy for just about anyone—just a long slow pull of the start cord is required instead of a hard jerk.

To make it even easier, this blower has the simplified starting system that incorporates a specialised stop switch that automatically returns to the start position, as well as a semi-automatic choke lever that helps prevent accidental flooding. Just like the BG 86, this Easy2Start™ model also comes with both flat and round nozzles for better versatility on the job.

STIHL 2-MIX Engine

The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.

The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.

STIHL Easy2start

EFFORTLESS STARTING. STIHL Easy2start saves you energy when starting your power tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.

LOCKING THROTTLE TRIGGER WITH STOP BUTTON

COMFORTABLE ADJUSTMENT OF BLOWING FORCE. The throttle trigger can be used to adjust the engine performance and as such the usable blowing force. You can adjust the engine output between idling and full power on an infinitely variable basis. The throttle trigger always remains in your preferred position. A brief thumb press on the stop button is sufficient to switch off the power tool. The blower remains immediately ready to be used again.
