The compact STIHL TS 710i petrol cut-off machine is a very powerful high-performance power tool for professional use in civil engineering and road construction, as well as for demanding tasks in horticulture and landscaping. Equipped with the innovative, electronically controlled STIHL Injection system, the powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine of this professional cut-off machine guarantees very good running characteristics and high torque. Reduced emissions and efficient fuel consumption are further advantages of the innovative engine technology.

The TS 710i can be started in just 2 steps – and the STIHL Injection, STIHL ElastoStart with wear-resistant starter cord and decompression valve enable a simple, smooth start-up process without jerky loads.

The TS 710i engine cut-off machine is suitable for cutting depths of up to 125 mm and can be hand-held. The ergonomic handle design and, in particular, the STIHL anti-vibration system ensure your muscles and joints are protected while you work. The design of the STIHL anti-vibration system also helps you to guide the power tool precisely when cutting. We recommend using the optional STIHL FW 20 Cutquik cart, which can be used with an adapter, for precise cuts and longer cutting distances – for example in road construction.

The placement of the water connection with ball valve for wetting the cutting wheel helps you to work effectively. Thanks to the long-life air filter system, the cleaning interval is extended, ensuring you can use the STIHL TS 710i for longer periods without interruption. The TS 710i drive can easily be retensioned using the semi-automatic belt tensioning function, which extends the life of the belt and bearing. This petrol cut-off machine can also be optionally equipped with a STIHL Smart Connector. You can, for example, access all recorded device dataat any time, always have a precise insight into the operating time of the device and can plan necessary maintenance in advance.

STIHL INJECTION

HIGH PERFORMANCE IN COMPACT DESIGN. The electronic fuel injection control unit continuously calculates the correct fuel supply and the ideal ignition time, and injection is performed directly into the crankcase via the injection valve. Additionally, sensors measure air pressure and internal and external temperature, and pass information on to the control unit. This can use the identified values to determine the optimum fuel quantity and ignition timing. This means that your power tool offers more power from a similar weight and installation space compared to engines without injection.

MANUAL DECOMPRESSION

EFFORTLESS START-UP. The decompression valve makes it easier to start your power tool. When starting, you can allow some of the compressed mixture to escape from the cylinder by opening the valve. This protects the start-up system and reduces the amount of force required on the starter cord.

MAGNESIUM GUARD

LIGHTWEIGHT AND STABLE. The cutting wheel guard ensures that you are not hit by flying cut material or cooling water from the cutting wheel. The cast magnesium guard is very lightweight and robust.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC STIHL BELT TENSIONING

EXTENDS THE BELT’S SERVICE LIFE. Semi-automatic STIHL belt tensioning makes it easier for you to re-tension the drive belt. All you need is to adjust the adjustment screw with your spark plug wrench. Consistent tension extends the service life of the belt and bearing. For more detailed information on re-tensioning, please refer to the operating instructions of your power tool.

LONG-LIFE AIR FILTER SYSTEM FOR CUT-OFF MACHINES

ENSURES A LONG FILTER SERVICE LIFE. The long-life air filter system for cut-off machines does not collect coarse dust particles, but uses cyclone air routing to separate them and then discharges them into the ambient air. With just this first step the system removes around 80% of dust particles in the intake air. This enables an extremely long filter service life, and makes the tool easy to maintain.

ERGONOMIC HANDLE

FOR PRECISE GUIDANCE. With the ergonomic handle, you can keep a firm grip on your power tool and carry out cuts precisely, even when dealing with very hard stone. The curved handle offers you an optimised grip position and the highest level of comfort when working.

STIHL 2-MIX Engine

The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.

The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
