Service Kit 26: For FS 70, HT 56 and KM 56

You can perform simple maintenance work on your power tool yourself using Service Kit 26 to support the longevity of your STIHL pole prunersKombiSystems and brushcutters. Regular standard maintenance tasks, such as replacing the air and fuel filters and spark plug replacement, can usually be completed quickly and help to extend the service life of an engine. This means that you can always work reliably and at optimum performance with your STIHL power tool.

STIHL Service Kit 26 for FS 70HT 56 and KM 56 models includes the following components for standard maintenance tasks:

  • Fleece air filter
  • Spark plug
  • Fuel filter

The STIHL fleece filter offers good filter quality in a range of operating conditions. Coarse dirt particles are caught on the surface, while fine dirt particles are trapped inside the filter. This reliably protects the engine of your STIHL power tool against the ingress of abrasive dust, helping tomaintain performance and keep fuel consumption low and ensuring that you can continue to start your machine without difficulty. The fuel filter ensures that no foreign particles can enter the engine via the fuel. Regular replacement of this component protects the engine and ensures a long service life. It is also advisable to replace the spark plug regularly to maintain performance and ensure continued clean combustion in the engine.

When performing maintenance on the air filter and spark plug, it is best to use the practical combination socket toolsupplied with your STIHL power tool. A cardboard hook is integrated into the packaging of the service kit itself, which can be used to conveniently remove and replace the fuel filter. You don’t need any additional tools for the job.
