With the Service Kit 24 for STIHL petrol power scythes, you can carry out simple maintenance work on your power tool yourself. This proactive and regular standard maintenance, such as changing the air and fuel filters and the spark plug, will increase the service life of your STIHL power tool. In this way, you yourself help to protect machine components and parts from dirt and damage and ensure that your machine's engine always operates reliably and with optimum performance.

The STIHL Service Kit 24 for FS 38, FS 45 and FS 55 includes the following components for standard maintenance:

• Fleece air filter


• Spark plug


• Fuel filter


 

The STIHL fleece filter offers good filter quality ander different operating conditions. Coarse dirt particles are already caught on the surface, while the fine dirt particles are retained inside the filter. This reliably protects the engine of your STIHL machine from the ingress of abrasive dust. Power is maintained, consumption is low and you can continue to start your machine easily as usual.

To maintain performance, it is also advisable to regularly replace the spark plug. This is the basis for clean combustion in the engine. The fuel filter keeps the fuel free of foreign particles before it enters the engine. In this way, it protects the engine and ensures improved longevity. It, too, needs to be replaced regularly to function reliably.

To replace the air filter and spark plug, it is best to use the practical combination spanner that you already received with your STIHL power tool. A cardboard hook is integrated in the packaging of the service kit itself. This allows you to conveniently remove and replace the fuel filter. You do not need any additional tools.
