The STIHL chainsaw guard protects both the chain and the bar, so these elements are protected from mechanical damage and dirt during chainsaw transport or storage. This optional chainsaw accessory, for example for the STIHL MS 362 chainsaw, also increases safety. This is because the particularly sturdy saw chain guard preventsinjuries caused by the sharp cutting attachment.

The STIHL chain guard with bar length up to 45 cm, for domestic users and professionals, is suitable for the 3005, 3003 and 3006 bar mounts.
