The STIHL MSA 300 C-O is the first battery chainsaw that was specially designed for professional work by STIHL. Thanks to the powerful STIHL AP 500 S battery from the STIHL AP System, developed for this chain saw, the full electrical output of 3.0 kW is converted into a chain speed of up to 30 m/s. Together with the STIHL .325" -RS -Pro -saw chain and the Light 04 -guide bar for a high cutting performance with reduced weight. Professionals are convincing at work with the STIHL MSA 300 the weatherproof and robust construction. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations and thus relieves your muscles and joints.

So that the maintenance and cleaning of the battery chainsaw MSA 300 can be carried out as easily as possible, the filter is particularly easy to reach thanks to the service cover. The filter is also temperature-monitored so that you are informed directly about any contamination. The STIHL MSA 300 is the first chain saw from STIHL to have an operation and notification cockpit, which you can use to obtain all the essential data and information about your saw. It is also already prepared for networked work thanks to STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.

Felling, delimbing and cutting small and medium-sized trees: Thanks to the battery chainsaw MSA 300 C -O from STIHL, landscapers, professionals in forest management and municipalities these tasks are particularly efficient. 3 operating programs (Eco, felling and delimbing) configure the chainsaw for the respective uses. An additional oil sensor monitors this continuously so that you always work with the optimum oil pressure.

OIL SENSOR

FOR CONTROL AND MONITORING OF THE OIL SUPPLY. The LED display on the oil sensor informs you about the delivery of chain lubricant. If the LED is red, there is not enough chain oil reaching the chain. When the oil supply is sufficient, the LED is off.

NON-WOVEN AIR FILTER

FOR EFFECTIVE PROTECTION OF POWER ELECTRONICS AND ENGINE PARTS. The non-woven air filter filters sawdust, fine dust and dirt from the cooling air flow. This keeps the heat sinks of the power electronics and the engine parts clean in the long term. The removed non-woven air filter can be easily and effectively cleaned with STIHL Varioclean and then reused. Cleaning should be carried out regularly – monthly in the event of heavy use.

CONTROL LEVER WITH POTENTIOMETER FUNCTION

FOR COMFORTABLE HANDLING. The control lever with potentiometer function allows you to control the speed of your battery chainsaw on an infinitely variable basis, and in this way easily control and adjust its performance as needed.

OPERATION AND NOTIFICATION COCKPIT

IMPORTANT STATUS INFORMATION AT A GLANCE. The large LED display provides feedback on the status of important chainsaw components.

OPERATING MODES

ADAPTED TO YOUR WORK. This chainsaw offers you 3 different operating modes. In “Eco” mode, the chainsaw operates with reduced power for maximum battery runtime. “Felling” mode uses the highest possible torque at reduced chain speed, to help you saw as evenly and powerfully as possible. “Delimbing” mode gives you a very high chain speed for precise cuts. Use the activation button to start your chainsaw in your preferred mode.

PERFORMANCE ELECTRONICS WITH DERATING FUNCTION

EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE MONITORING. The derating function offers you two advantages in your work: first, this function protects your chainsaw against possible overheating by reducing the current. Additionally, it notifies you by means of a reduction in power if you only have very little battery power remaining. In both cases, the function allows you to finish cuts that have already started without the engine switching off.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone or tablet that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions. Smart Connector 2 A sold seperately.
