The STIHL 4-MIX® engine offers a powerful engine and high torque for effective working, while the enlarged fuel tank enables you to work for longer periods of time without interruption.
The STIHL KM 131 R KombiEngine’s automatic decompression and manual fuel pump simplify the start-up sequence of the power tool by reducing the number of strokes required to start it. Operating the STIHL KM 131 R is easy, as all control elements are integrated into the single-handed multi-function handle. This includes the stop button, which means the engine can be restarted immediately after a pause in work. Thanks to the practical loop handle with barrier bar, you can work efficiently even in narrow, hard-to-reach areas. The paper filter in the long-life air filter lasts a long time and is easily accessible for standard maintenance. The STIHL anti-vibration system ensures comfortable working by damping vibrations and thereby protecting your muscles and joints. During longer periods of use, you can enjoy extra support from the comfortably padded harness.

STIHL 4-MIX® engines comply with the European Stage V emissions directive.
AUTOMATIC DECOMPRESSION
EFFORTLESS STARTING. Automatic decompression makes it easier to start the engine. This is because the system automatically opens the intake valve when the engine is started; the opening time of the valve is extended, and as a result the compression pressure is reduced. This significantly reduces the force required on the starter cord.
LONG AIR FILTER SERVICE LIFE
ENSURES LONG CHANGEOVER INTERVALS. Thanks to its long service life, you rarely need to change the easily accessible filter. This saves resources and reduces maintenance effort.
MANUAL FUEL PUMP
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
