The lightweight STIHL HLA 56 battery long-reach hedge trimmer is ideal for cutting taller hedges, shrubs and ground cover in your home garden and other noise-sensitive environments. The STIHL HLA 56 uses lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AK-System.

With its ergonomically optimised control handle, you have all the controls at your fingertips. The loop handle also supports handling of the STIHL HLA 56 battery long-reach hedge trimmer, even in confined spaces. The single-sided blades in a teardrop shape for holding twigs in the cutting blade enable high cutting performance. With tool-free blade angle adjustment, you can easily adjust the blade angles through 135°, from -45° to +90°, for cuts overhead and to the side. The screw-on tip protector protects the cutting attachment during work close to the groand. Our video shows you how to effortlessly cut back tall hedges and groand cover with the HLA 56.

Thanks to the detachable shaft, you can shorten the overall length from 210 cm to 115 cm, making the long-reach hedge trimmer easy to transport and compact to store on a wall bracket.

TOOL-FREE BLADE ANGLE ADJUSTMENT

FOR CUTTING TO SUIT YOUR WORK POSITION. The cutter bar with tool-free adjustment enables you to very effectively cut the sides and tops of hedges. It also means that you can work close to the ground efficiently. You can adjust the angle of the cutter bar to several positions to suit your current working position with just two simple movements.

INTUITIVE OPERATION

EASY STARTING. To start the power tool, all you need to do is release the lock using the locking switch. The power tool can then be started using the trigger. The additional ERGO lever enables continuous work without having to restart. The self-resetting locking switch prevents accidental activation of the power tool. Operation is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users.

DETACHABLE SHAFT

FOR COMFORTABLE TRANSPORT AND STORAGE. Thanks to the detachable shaft, you can quickly dismantle your power tool for easier transport, and also store it in a space-saving manner. You do not need any tools to disassemble the shaft.

LOOP HANDLE

MORE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT IN NARROW SPACES. The loop handle is a great advantage in narrow spaces, such as when clearing between bushes, shrubs or park benches. The practical handle position allows you to move your power tool freely and to guide it easily and precisely, even in confined spaces.

WALL HOLDER

PRACTICAL STORAGE. With the standard wall holder, you can suspend the individual shaft components of your long-reach hedge trimmer conveniently and easily so that they are ready to hand the next time you use them.
