The STIHL GS 461 concrete cutter is the ideal complement to our STIHL cut-off machines and is designed for robust professional use on construction sites. You can use the GS 461 concrete cutter for wet cutting concrete, natural stone and masonry. Powered by the powerful and economical STIHL 2-MIX engine, the cutting chains with pre-sharpened diamond segments guarantee top performance from the very first cut. The STIHL GS 461 concrete cutter will enable you to carry out precise corner cuts and break through walls quickly and efficiently.

The water connection with integrated dosing tap allows for optimal water flow and dosing, while the internally flushed sprocket nose ensures continuous cleaning and prevents small stones or splinters from getting stuck. Its comparatively lightweight design and STIHL anti-vibration system make the GS 461 much easier to handle, especially during long periods of use. The STIHL GS 461 concrete cutter also features a tool-free fuel cap for easy refuelling, a long-life air filter system to protect the engine from fine dust and a wear-resistant starter cord as well as STIHL ElastoStart for easy starting.

GUIDE BAR WITH WATER SUPPLY

REDUCES DUST LOAD AND PROTECTS THE MATERIAL. The guide bar with internal water flushing reduces dust when working with your concrete cutter. The chain, the groove in the guide bar and the sprocket nose are washed and cooled in this process. This also extends the service life of the bar and chain.

WATER CONNECTION

FOR DUST BINDING AND COOLING. When working with your power tool, a permanent water supply is provided for flushing the cutting wheel. It is used to bind dust and cool the cut. With the water connection directly on the power tool, this rinsing is easy and permanently assured.

WATER MANAGEMENT INTEGRATED IN SPROCKET COVER

FOR OPTIMISED WATER CONSUMPTION. Water management of the flushing water for your concrete cutter is integrated in the sprocket cover. The water is diverted here and fed back into the kerf so that flushing losses are minimised.

LONG-LIFE AIR FILTER SYSTEM FOR CHAINSAWS

EXTENDED FILTER SERVICE LIFE. Pre-separation routing removes coarse, larger particles from the airstream before they can reach the actual filter. The HD2 filter keeps even fine dust away from the engine, ensuring a long engine service life, long cleaning intervals and easy maintenance of your chainsaw. When we refer to a long-life air filter system in chainsaws, this exclusively describes models that have pre-separation routing and an HD2 filter. With this system, you benefit from a significantly longer filter service life compared to conventional air filter systems.

STIHL 2-MIX Engine

The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.

The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

MANUAL DECOMPRESSION

EFFORTLESS START-UP. The decompression valve makes it easier to start your power tool. When starting, you can allow some of the compressed mixture to escape from the cylinder by opening the valve. This protects the start-up system and reduces the amount of force required on the starter cord.

STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.

RUBBER GUARD

PROTECTS THE ENGINE CASING AGAINST DAMAGE. For wall cuts using full immersion depth, the large rubber guard protects the engine casing of your concrete cutter against wear.

SIDE-MOUNTED CHAIN TENSIONING

FOR SIMPLE AND SECURE RE-TENSIONING. Side-mounted chain tensioning allows for protected, easy and quick chain tensioning and replacement. The tensioning screw is inserted laterally through the sprocket cover.
