FUNCTION Core trousers: Maximum protection and high comfort for Chainsaw tasks

The STIHL FUNCTION Core cut protection trousers are designed for private landowners and anyone working with STIHL chainsaws for tasks like cutting firewood or agricultural maintenance. Offering Class 1, Design A cut protection (EN ISO 11393 & AS/NZS 4453.3), these trousers deliver dependable safety without compromising on comfort.

Lightweight and breathable, the FUNCTION Core trousers feature a regular fit and a durable mix of functional materials for freedom of movement and long-lasting wear. A breathable lining and ventilation panels at the back of the thighs help maintain an optimal body climate, while kidney protection keeps you warm in cooler conditions.

Practical details include multiple pockets (side, back, thigh, and ruler) for tools and accessories, plus attachment points for STIHL braces. The stylish three-tone design with high-visibility orange accents ensures you look as professional as you work.

Made with partially recycled polyester and a PFAS-free water- and dirt-repellent finish, these trousers are eco-conscious and easy to care for machine washable at 60°C. Combine them with STIHL weatherproof jackets for all-season protection.

CUT PROTECTION AREA DESIGN A

PROTECTION DURING FORESTRY WORK. Cut protection trousers with design A (in accordance with EN 381 and EN ISO 11393) have cut protection that completely covers your front lower body. In the rear left leg area, the protection continues around the leg by 5 cm in each case. You are very well protected during forestry work with design A.

STRETCH ZONES

MORE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT. Important movement zones on your work trousers are provided by means of flexible material, so that you will always enjoy very comfortable wear.

BREATHABILITY

WICKS HEAT AND SWEAT TO THE OUTSIDE. Its breathable material makes it comfortable to wear, even when you’re working hard. This is because moisture is wicked to the outside, while fresh air is let in.
