The STIHL 150 mm flat file is indispensable when it comes to proper maintenance and sharpening of the saw chain. With this flat file, both professional and domestic users can efficiently and precisely grind down depth gauges. It is best to check the distance with a filing gauge after each sharpening. If the distance is insufficient, YOU will have to sand the depth gauge forther with the flat file. Maintaining an optimum distance between the top of the tooth and the depth gauge ensures that you are removing the ideal amount of wood with your STIHL chainsaw.
