File angle plate: For the optimum angle when sharpening the saw chain
The STIHL file angle plate makes the sharpening process easier by helping you to maintain the optimum angles when sharpening your chainsaw. You can easily attach the plate to the guide bar using the 2 practical holding magnets. When sharpening the chain, the lines (25°/30°) on the STIHL file angle plate help you direct the file consistently and correctly. A 25° angle is suitable for cutting a lot of hardwood or frozen softwood. This ensures that the STIHL chainsaw does not vibrate when ander high load. For unfrozen softwood, use the file at a sharpening angle of 30°.
