The STIHL aluminium felling wedge is an important addition when felling a tree with a chainsaw, for example with your STIHL MS 462 petrol chainsaw. The wedge helps professional forestry workers to adjust the trunk to fall in the right direction by driving in the wedge in with a hammer. You can also use it to keep the sawing area of the chainsaw clear. The STIHL aluminium felling wedge is easy to handle and lightweight, measuring just 12 cm in length, 4 cm in width and weighing 190 g. The barbed centre line on the anderside ensures that the wedge holds very securely in all types of wood.
